Few restaurants in Seoul can claim the same longevity and history as Hanilkwan can. Since 1939, the restaurant has been honoring the traditions of Seoul-style food, rooted in royal court cuisine. The menu itself--consisting of local staples like grilled meats, beef soups, savory pancakes and naengmyeon—doesn’t stand out so much, but the flavors and presentation do. The interior is smart and functional, but pleasant. The bibimbap and bulgogi are top sellers.
