Hidden in the industrial back alley of Seongsu-dong’s famed “handmade shoe street,” this quirky establishment specializes in hand-cut noodle soup and dumplings. The mother and daughter that run the joint prepare the dough for the day from scratch every morning. The freshly-made dumpling skins are pleasantly chewy in texture and the filling is juicy, spicy and fragrant with perilla seed oil. The broth of the noodle soup is rich and flavorful, made by boiling ox bones and beef. The noodles are served with a simple topping of pulled soy sauce-braised beef.
